The Kariya area of Sakata City is located on the banks of the Arase River, which flows through the Shōnai Plain. Kariya is famous for its high-quality pears. This wine is made with a combination of sweet and juicy Hosui and La France varieties, without additives or colorants. It is made without heat treatment, allowing you to fully enjoy the flavor of fresh pears.
“Der Neue” means “the newcomer” in German. This name is used for the limited edition wine sold every year in December.
