These senbei crackers are made using rice grown in the Kisakata area (Nikaho City) with water from Mt. Chokai. The rice is made into puffed rice, then baked into the senbei as accent decorations.
They also contain eggs from a poultry farm in Kisakata, where chickens are raised with the air and water of the local area.
The senbei are shaped in the image of Mt. Chokai (as seen from the Akita side). The puffed rice represents snow gathered in the valleys and ridges of the mountain, terrain that was created by a sector collapse of Mt. Chokai long ago. The scenery of the Kujūkushima Islands and their rice fields is added with a branding iron.
