This poundcake is made with a mixture of dried figs and fig compote. The figs used are grown in the Ōtake area of Nikaho City, which is said to be the northernmost limit of where they are grown in Japan.
By combining two different types of fig (dried and compote), this poundcake allows you to enjoy both the sweetness and the texture of figs.
